Last year UEFA Champions League runners-up Juventus is possible facing serious face-lifting. Juventus already lost their main striker Carlos Tevez who return home to Boca Juniors and their playmaker Andrea Pirlo who move to New York City FC in MLS. Also two other key players might leave the club since Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal are one of most wanted players this summer transfer window.
Draxler might cost Juventus 25 million euros
With possibility that they might be without whole midfield Juventus are searching to find some replacement. So far Juventus bought Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid (19 million euros) and Paulo Dybala from Palermo (32 million euros). As Pirlo replacement Juventus sign ex-Real Madrid defensive midfielder Sami Khedira on free transfer. But if Vidal and Pogba leaves the club then Juventus would need another playmaker that will feed attackers with good passes and through balls. Juventus decision is on young Schalke 04 playmaker Julian Draxler. According to many Germany and Italy media Schalke 04 has given green light to Juventus for negation with player about possible transfer. Draxler release clauses is 45 million euros, but in recent interview Draxler representative Roger Wittman said that he think Schalke would be satisfied with 25 million euros.
“It is true that his 45 million euros clause expired on June 30. This is also the expiry date for the next two season as the player has a contract until June 2018. But it is also true that we are in talks with Juventus over a transfer. I think the deal could be concluded for a transfer fee of 25 million euros.”
Draxler is the product of Schalke 04 youth academy and since his promotion to first team in 2011 he made 166 appearances in all competitions scoring 29 goals with 29 assists.
