Liverpool Transfer News: 3 Replacements for Mario Balotelli

Liverpool Transfer News:
It seems that the time of Super Mario at Liverpool Football Club is all but over. When Mario was brought in from AC Milan in the summer transfer window, there were lot of question marks on his ‘off field’ activities. And time has proved that those concerns were legitimate. Balotelli’s tweet, which was found to be offensive by English FA, has once again raised serious questions on his seriousness regarding the game. A player who hasn’t opened his account in Premier League so far seems to be on the verge of his Anfield career after such a short spell.

Here are 3 replacements of Mario Balotelli which Liverpool can go for in the January Transfer Window.

Alexandre Lacazette:
The news has emerged from France that Lyon can sell their Start striker in January if a solid offer comes in. And there is no better signing for Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool than Alexandre Lacazette. With 13 goals and 4 assists in 17 matches so far, the French International is in supreme form this season. In a league surrounded by Big Money strikers, Alexandre is the top scorer in French Ligue 1. He’s been also linked with Arsenal in recent weeks but if Liverpool can manage to sign him, it can end their striker’s crisis.

Wilfried Bony:

Another in form Player in the Premier League, Wilfried Bony has scored more goals than any striker in the Premier League year 2014. Playing with a Mid-Table side like Swansea is never easy for a striker. But the Ivorian keeps on finding the back of the net more often than not. A number of Premier League club are in pursuit of Bony and Gary Monk has clearly reiterated that Bony should go for a high price if sold. And Liverpool, who spend more than $100 Million in summer, can certainly employ some more funds to hire the services of Bony.

Mauro Icardi:
Even though the Inter Milan Player prefers a move to central London, but a good price can fetch his interest towards Liverpool. Only 21 years of age, Icardi has got a lot of potential. With 8 goals in Serie A season so far, and that too with a struggling Inter Milan side means a lot. With Inter Milan currently sitting on mid table positions, Liverpool have recently shown his interest in this Argentine Striker.
